OpenPlant Isometric Manager CONNECT Edition is the first software that automatically and intelligently extracts isometric data from 3D models in any design system in real time.

 

This software provides control over pipeline management for OpenPlant and related models, Bentley Plant products, PDMS, SmartPlant, and PDS. The CONNECT Edition of OpenPlant Isometric Manager includes SELECT CONNECT, a new Azure-based service that offers the benefits of comprehensive learning, mobility, and collaboration for all participants in the Bentley program. OpenPlant Isometric Manager is a Bentley product and a modular industrial design software suite specifically designed for intelligent isometric design.

This software, which is a relatively new product from Bentley, helps civil engineers and architects create highly accurate designs and utilize powerful isometric tools. It extracts relevant data from multiple 3D file sources, resulting in reduced design costs and increased project speed and efficiency. OpenPlant is a suite of professional 2D and 3D design software from the well-known company Bentley.

This family represents the next generation of Bentley’s plant design software packages.

The reason for this is that, unlike the previous generation (called AutoPLANT), which was integrated with AutoCAD, OpenPlant has been developed independently and natively allows importing products into AutoCAD.

This package enables you to easily create plants of any size in both 2D and 3D, thanks to the software’s intelligence and the ability to collaborate easily with other designers.

It also has the ability to interact with standard models and open data to speed up review cycles and ultimately accelerate project creation.
