Request a supercomputer!
The service fees at Amirkabir HPC Center are calculated based on factors such as processor type, memory size, usage time, and additional user requirements.
To order services at Amirkabir HPC Center, you first need to visit the ICT Center website of Amirkabir University and register. After registration, you can submit your request through the university’s HPC portal. Once your request is submitted, ICT experts at Amirkabir University will review it. If approved, the necessary credit will be added to your HPC account.
After receiving the credit, you can access the services by installing the HPC Manager software on your computer. Using this software, you can connect to the HPC center and execute your projects or research tasks.
Certain computations are so complex that they cannot be handled by regular computers. Academic and research institutions use supercomputers for simulations and data processing. These systems consist of thousands of processing units capable of handling the most complex data. Common applications include:
Simulation and processing of complex data are only possible using supercomputers.
The efficient virtual machine service provided by Amirkabir HPC Center offers users full administrator access to a virtual machine. This virtual machine can be used for a wide range of tasks, including heavy data processing, software development, and scientific or engineering computations.
Applications:
Features of Efficient Virtual Machines:
The Amirkabir HPC Center provides an integrated cluster-based platform running on Linux for user services. This option is suitable for users requiring cost-effective and flexible computational resources.
Job Submission: Users can create accounts online through the portal and submit their jobs to the cluster scheduler.
Job Execution: Submitted jobs are prioritized and executed based on a first-come, first-serve basis. During peak times, job queues may form.
Advantages of Cluster-Based Services:
The center provides a collection of curated datasets in artificial intelligence for free. These datasets include a variety of image, audio, and text data. Applications include machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and deep learning.
Examples include training models for face recognition, machine translation, object detection, and disease diagnosis. These datasets serve as a valuable resource for students, researchers, and faculty to aid in AI research and projects.
The Amirkabir HPC Center’s collaborative research service (Colab) is a powerful online HPC tool used for various applications, including machine learning, image processing, and data analytics.
Features of Colab:
Pro Version Orders:
To order the Pro version, users must create and activate an account under the Efficient Virtual Machine section, then specify their requirements such as OS type and hardware preferences. Once ready, login details will be provided.
In the Pro version of Amirkabir Colab, users gain access to more resources for advanced computational needs.
