CalcTape is a different calculator for the Windows operating system. Unlike the default Windows calculator, it offers many features. For example, it saves all intermediate results, even for complex calculations. At any stage of your calculation, you can correct the final result by modifying previous results.
Let’s say you’re doing a wide range of calculations with many digits, and after a few minutes, you realize that you made a mistake at some point. In traditional methods, we often didn’t know exactly where the error occurred and had to redo the entire calculation. But in this calculator, all the results are recorded, and at any stage, we can check if we made a mistake. If an error is found, we can correct the final result by modifying the incorrect value. All intermediate operations are editable. For example, if we added where we should have subtracted, or missed a multiplication, or added an extra zero, these can all be adjusted.
The program’s interface is very simple and free of extra controls. As soon as the program runs, a blank screen opens up, showing all of your calculations. By clicking on the values and operations, you can apply the necessary changes.
